My Seattle Story
I was born and raised in what I believe to be the heartbeat of Seattle, Capitol Hill. Spent summers playing in the park and sprinkler. The travel bug bit me while on a family trip and I haven’t looked back. Getting to travel the world has been amazing. What’s even better is always coming home to Seattle. Like someone else said, there really is nothing like that view of downtown when you come...

Super Sonics #winning, who loses? →

I became really close with lots of people up there and kept up the long distance friendship. I went up again in 2011 for a couple of weeks and it was amazing. My friends took time off of work and took me hiking,...

My Seattle Story
I was born in Houston, lived there all my life. When I was 18 I came to Seattle for medical treatment at UW. I was here from July to December in 2007, and that’s all it took for me to fall in love with this place. I went home that December and all I could talk about was how badly I wanted to move back. There was a lot going on with myself and my family, so there was never an opportune moment...
embodiedhate asked: The Sonics picture reminded me of a "story".... My parents almost named me Shawn Payton because they were such big fans of the Sonics. Shawn for Shawn Kemp and Payton for Gary Payton. My name didn't end up being Shawn, but I'm still Elizabeth Peyton! (We changed the spelling) :)
